Paul has openings for individual and group lessons in oil, acrylic, and drawing. Private lessons can be arranged at his studio or your location. Group classes currently in University City area (Tuesdays 2-4 p.m.), South Charlotte (Thursdays 2-4 p.m.), Mooresville (Mondays 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.), and Cornelius (Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesdays 6:30 to 9 p.m.). Paul is also offering custom, weighted, wooden artist palettes and gesso and undertone prepared boards for oil and acrylic in standard frame sizes. Contact Paul for more information.
Paul has two workshops planned at the Florence Thomas Art School in Glendale Springs, NC.

BIOGRAPHY
Paul Keysar is known for his classic, representational oil paintings of landscapes and still lifes. He has a passion for the land and is intrigued with the interaction of man and nature. "As an artist, I am continually observing life around me. I am fascinated by the effects of light, atmosphere, and weather. My goal is to show the beauty of the land and man's dependence on it."
Paul started his formal art training at the age of fourteen with lessons at The Art League in Alexandria, Virginia. In 2000, he completed four years of fine arts education at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. In addition, his training included a year of study from 1997-1998 under nationally known portrait and landscape artist Carolyn Egeli of Valley Lee, Maryland.
Paul is an award-winning plein air painter and studio artist. His greatest artistic influences have been the art of Homer, Corot, and Constable, along with the contemporary work of Jacob Collins, Randall Exon, and many others. He has participated in numerous solo and group shows, and his work is owned by collectors throughout the country. He offers private art lessons, classes, and plein air workshops for beginners through advanced. Paul currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and son.
