LAKE NORMAN ART LEAGUE PRESENTS 3-D GLASS SCULPTING WORKSHOP

This upcoming workshop will teach you how physical glass changes under the formation of making a sculpted piece. This program is sponsored by the Lake Norman Art League through a project grant supported in part by the Arts and Science Council.

On Friday, May 16, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., participants will learn how to form a 3-D glass sculpture without a mold and get it ready for firing. On Sunday, May 18, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., participants will review and pickup finished pieces. The workshop will take place at the Art Glass Works Studio, 20850 Catawba Avenue, Cornelius, NC 28031. All skill levels are welcome. No prior knowledge or experience required. Supplies will be furnished. Attendees must wear closed toe shoes.

Cost for the workshop is $40.00 for 2008 Lake Norman Art League members and Art Glass Works members. Non-members will pay $50.00. Space is limited.
