Please bring up to 4 works to hang. Please complete entry form, bring check or cash for entry fee and membership dues if joining or renewing membership, and attach labels before arriving.

(The Lake Norman Art League's Gallery Space; located across the street from Wooden Stone, next to Masterworks; enter via doors at the parking lot behind the building; same side of street as Fuel Pizza.)

Exhibit Hours: The Lake Norman Art League Winter 2010 Exhibit & Sale is open to the public March 30 - May 14, 2010, during 442 S. Main's regular business hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Art League representatives available by appointment only.
Sales: Sales are encouraged, but not required. The Lake Norman Art League will retain a commission of 20% from works sold from members, 40% from non-members. Please set your retail price, including sales tax. Your prices should be in line with current sales of your work. It is the artist's responsibility to collect and remit sales tax. Indicate if your work is part of an edition, and if prints can be purchased. If not for sale, indicate NFS on your entry form.
Entry Fee:
LKN Art League Members/Students: $15 for 1; $10 for each additional, up to 4 entries max
Non-Members: $30 for 1; $10 for each additional, up to 4 entries max
Students must show valid College/University ID. Dues to join the LKN Art League are $35.00/year for individuals or $50/year for households. View a Membership Application. Please email info@lknart.org if you would like to join/renew, or you can join/renew at the exhibit take-in.
Size Restrictions:
All 2-D work must be no greater than 60" x 60" including frame. All 3-D work must be easily displayed in the space available. 3-D artists must bring their own freestanding displays.
FRAMING GUIDELINES:
-All work must be appropriately framed and securely wired to hang. Gallery wrapped canvases are permitted, as long as the sides are painted and it is stapled in the back. No saw tooth hangers. Please use d-rings or screw eyes.
-To hang properly on our hanging system, please place your screws at least 2.5", and no greater than 3", from the top of the frame or gallery wrapped canvas. Pull the wire as taught as possible. Please test your piece on our system at take-in and make adjustments as needed to hang properly. If you have questions about framing, please email info@lknart.org.
Other Limitations:
-Work must be the artist's original creation. Work must be dry.
-The decision to reject any work will be at the sole discretion of the Lake Norman Art League. *The Lake Norman Art League reserves the right to limit award amounts if necessary due to number of entries.
-All media is welcome. However, if your work cannot be hung on the wall, you must bring your own display equipment at take-in. Please contact us in advance of take-in to let us know about this. If your work requires special care in hanging, please make arrangements to assist.

Removal of Work:
Saturday, May 15, 2010 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 442 S. Main Street, Davidson, NC
All work must be removed no later than this time and no earlier than May 10. If you cannot remove your work on May 15, please make advance arrangements to remove the week prior. The League does not have storage. Work left over 30 days will become the property of the Lake Norman Art League and may be disposed of or donated to charity.
